Many opportunities exist in volunteering for Animal Oasis. While some may seem mundane all are important. The combined efforts of our volunteers is what makes our organization work. We are always looking for dedicated individuals to help us out in any way that they can.

Many of our volunteers enjoy walking the dogs, socializing with the cats, or fostering animals who need special care until they can be adopted. Others serve as adoption counselors.

Volunteers are needed for:

  • To participate in events like adopt-a-thons and adoption days
  • Picking up and transporting animals from foster homes who don't drive
  • Driving animals to veterinary appointments, to foster homes, to adoption events
  • To generate publicity
  • Sending thank you letters
  • Picking up donated items
  • Fund raisers
  • General care and grooming
  • Generating and distribution of pet lists and flyers

Every minute you donate to a homeless animal helps to keep tails wagging and furry's purring. There is no feeling in the world like the one you get when you look in the eyes of one of our orphans and see that you have made a difference. Our lives are more precious when trust, unconditional love, respect and care exist as the primary bond between animals and one another.

We are always looking for friendly people to help out. If you have any special skills, we're always willing to hear what you can do. Just let us know!
